  • Stock gifts are accepted by our team! If you’re interested in giving via stock, please contact our Development Manager, Kyle Ramey, at kramey@ahipva.org

  • No, AHIP is a private nonprofit operated exclusively by locals invested in Albemarle’s well-being. However, we do receive funding from both the Albemarle and Charlottesville government. Our team also coordinates with the local Department of Social Services to locate homeowners in need.

  • Our team focuses strictly on providing service to homeowners who are at or below 80% of the Area Median Income. Once onboarded, projects are prioritized based on the severity of the repair issues in question. For example, if an elderly couple calls us in the fall with reports of a failing heater, that becomes an immediate project.
