Be Careful What You Wish For . . .

. . .  It just may come true!  

In this case, what a wonderful wish to come true.  In AHIP’s Fall 2003 newsletter, we made out a “Christmas Wish List” for the various needs of the organization and our clients.  We were in desperate need of new tools, equipment, and work trucks.  Santa Claus came in the form of Leonard Copeland of Bovis Lend Lease, Project Superintendent for the Martha Jefferson Outpatient Care Center at Peter Jefferson Place. 

            After reading the winter newsletter, Mr. Copeland contacted AHIP staff to learn more about our needs and how Bovis could help.  He recommended that we make an ambitious prioritized “wish list” and he would see what he could do.  Within the first week we received two brand new contractor job lock boxes to keep our tools secure on project sites.   To date AHIP has received much needed hand tools and equipment donations totaling over $ 2,500.
