Over the past 30 years AHIP has completed 775 housing rehabilitations,
built 40 new homes, performed over 1150 emergency repairs (since EHRP was
established in 1987), and has assisted 75 families in becoming first time
homebuyers. |

is licensed by the State of Virginia as Class A Contractor classified in
Building, Electrical, and Plumbing. |

Is certified and licensed by the State of Virginia as a Lead Based Paint
Abatement Contractor. |

|
Employees 11 full time crew members, 8 administrative staff at the main
office, 1 part time Volunteer Coordinator, and 3 administrative staff at our
Park's Edge office. |

|
Is recognized and certified by the State of Virginia as a Community
Development Housing Organization (CHDO). |
|
|
Purchased Whitewood Village Apartments, now called Parks Edge
Apartments, an 8 building 96 unit
complex in Albemarle County. All the buildings have gone through
complete renovations and remodeling. In addition, a new 4000 sf community center
was built to bring social services and educational opportunities
directly to the tenants. |
